Auditions for Theater O's Spring Productions!

Basic Information:

We will be holding Auditions on

Saturday April 5th from 3:00 - 5:30 PM 

Sunday April 6th from 11:00 - 2:00 PM

***We have added times for Friday 4/11 and  Saturday 4/12***

If your kid can not make any of these times, no worries, contact Kate, (kate@theatero.org) and we can set up something else for you.

Rehearsals will begin the week of April 28th.

The Elementary Aged Production will be performed, Wednesday June 4th, Thursday June 5th, and Friday June 6th at Bethany Arts Community.

The Middle School Aged Production will be performed, Thursday June 12th, Friday June 13th, and Saturday June 14th at Bethany Arts Community.

Please note that both productions will have mandatory rehearsals throughout the process. Ones that can be noted now are the week before the performance dates. We will run Tech the Sunday before opening night, and everyday of that week it is expected that all actors will attend. 

Please be realistic about all the activities your child is signed up for, and if they actually have time to participate in a full production.

When signing up for a time slot, please list the actor’s name and which play they are auditioning for.

Sides will be handed out after signing up.

The Elementary Production will be, Ever After, by Ashley Griffin.

Snow White, Cinderella, and all the rest have secretly taken refuge in the real world, determined to finally have their "Happily Ever After" after fleeing persecution from the Evil Queen. But Snow White's daughter doesn't find anything happy about it. Having to keep her identity a secret while listening to kids at school tell AWFUL stories about her mother being nothing but a damsel in distress is driving her mad! But when the Evil Queen finds a way to get into the real world, the fairy tale characters must work together to protect their last chance of a happy ending.

Auditions will be open to actors who are currently in grades 2 - 5.

Rehearsal days are TBD, although it should be assumed that actors will need to attend at least 2 rehearsals a week.

Please be honest about your family's weekly schedule.

The Middle School Production will be, Romeo & Juliet, by TBD.
